Experience
Vicki has been a professional dancer / choreographer since the age of 18 and although she was not professionally trained, has successfully gained professional qualifications in teaching Street/Hip-Hop, Ballroom & Latin American dancing. Her experience has seen her travel all over the UK, Europe & Asia performing at major events for companies such as Bacardi Blast, Twice as Nice, Euphoria & Sky Sports.
First hand mentored & trained by the Electric Boogaloos (Popping/Boogaloo), Twilight Players, Jimmy Williams (Locking) & Jeffrey Daniel (Original Soul Train Dancer, Choreographer to Michael Jackson & Musician), Vicki is recognised as one of the only people in the Essex region and UK with knowledge and understanding of these main influences of Hip-Hop culture.
Vicki also works alongside School Boards, Health Clubs & Private Social Groups not only to promote the Street/Hip-Hop dance elements, but also to encourage dance as a fitness & physical activity as well as a performing art.
The latest addition to Vicki's CV is the opening of V Dance Studio, her own studio based in Chelmsford, Essex. A state of the art venue specialising in traditional and cultured styles of dance including, Street, Hip-Hop, Popping/Boogaloo, Locking, House, Breakin', Zumba, Flamenco, Salsa, Ballroom & Latin for all ages 4+ and from beginners to professional!!
Bam Bam Boogies hopes to inspire and encourage more and more talented students into the Hip-Hop dance culture of today and push for them to achieve what they want through Dance & Performance.
