Our Class Guidelines and Terms & conditions can be found on our website: www.bambamboogies.com

Free trial classes are available during the first week of each term only. During this time, new students are welcome to try as many suitable classes as they wish before deciding whether to enrol for the term or continue on a pay-as-you-go basis. As we also offer pay-as-you-go classes and class spaces are limited, we are unable to offer free trials outside of the first week of term. Thank you for your understanding.

We encourage parents and carers to wait outside the studio during classes where possible. This helps children settle into their new environment, build confidence and develop independence, allowing them to fully engage with their teacher and classmates. We understand that some children may need a little extra reassurance when they first start, and our team will always work with families to help make the transition into class as comfortable and positive as possible.

  • Please wear comfortable dancewear such as joggers, leggings, sports shorts, a T-shirt, and clean dance trainers. For safety, avoid jeans, Crocs, Uggs, everyday footwear, skirts, dresses, or clothing that exposes underwear.
  • Water only (no fizzy / carbonated / sugary drinks unless it’s for medical reasons)
  • If you have any medical needs (e.g. an asthma inhaler), please bring them with you and inform a member of the teaching staff.
  • Competition, Collective, and Company dancers should always make sure dance trainers, knee pads, a towel, and a water bottle is part of their kit.
  • If you are bringing refreshments please make sure they are healthy snacks only, we do not recommend sweets / chocolates whilst training.

We welcome dancers with SEND and additional needs and aim to provide an inclusive, supportive and positive environment for everyone. Our group classes are designed for dancers whose individual needs can be safely and effectively supported within a group setting. Where a dancer may benefit from more personalised support, we can also offer private 1-to-1 lessons tailored to their individual needs and abilities. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss how best to support your dancer and find the most suitable option.

Yes! We send out merchandise order forms approximately twice each term. Our range includes T-shirts, hoodies, joggers, and tracksuits. We’re also working on launching an online store, making it even easier to order, and hope to introduce a pre-loved shop in the future.

Adult Community students are welcome to attend any class labelled Open, General or Community, unless a specific age range is stated in the class description. These classes are designed to be inclusive and are open to a wide range of ages, with the focus being on general ability and enjoyment rather than age.

If you are interested in joining one of our Training Programmes, please speak with one of your teachers in class. If you are not already dancing with the Bam Bam Boogies, please email: bookings@bambamboogies.com. Auditions will be held for Dance Company Members at least once a year. Keep a look out on our socials for call outs.

We encourage all parents and carers to familiarise themselves with the time, attendance, rehearsal, training and financial commitments involved in being part of Bam Bam Boogies. A consistent commitment helps students gain the greatest benefit from their training and supports the progress of the wider group.

We understand that, from time to time, family commitments, illness or unexpected circumstances may arise. Where possible, we kindly ask that any absences or changes to attendance are communicated to the Bam Bam Boogies teaching team as early as possible. This enables us to plan effectively and make any necessary adjustments to classes, rehearsals or performances.

Our teachers dedicate significant time to planning, choreographing and delivering high-quality sessions, ensuring that every class, rehearsal and performance is engaging, safe and enjoyable for all participants. Early communication allows us to provide the best possible experience for every student.

As we work with young people to develop not only their dance skills but also their confidence, resilience and wellbeing, we value the support of parents and carers in reinforcing positive attitudes towards commitment, practice and participation at home. Working together creates the best environment for every child to thrive and reach their full potential.

Yes. Group placements will be reviewed at the end of each half term to ensure they remain appropriate for each dancer’s ability, progress and commitment. We ask all parents and dancers to trust the guidance of their teachers and mentors, who will consider both individual development and the needs of the group when making placement decisions.

Absolutely! You’ll be able to book and pay for this online or email to book if you’d like to pay cash / bank transfer. Workshops will be advertised through Membermeister portal and our social medias. Please make sure the workshop is suitable for your ability / age (if stated), before booking.

We provide a wide range of performance opportunities, from our own original theatre productions to local, national, and international events. Performing is a key part of our training, helping dancers build confidence, creativity, and valuable stage experience. Our dancers have performed at venues and events including Sky 1, MTV, ITV2, The O2, and Disneyland Paris. Our Creative Director also assisted the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) in developing the Street Dance syllabus, giving our dancers the opportunity to work towards recognised dance examinations and, for those who wish to progress further, Associate Street Dance Teacher training.
